Quick reviews of random games

Batman: Arkham City 9.5/10 Incredible game, a free-roaming, action packed, tense, puzzling, filled with side missions and other things that will make it take years to get to 100% completion.

Pokemon Black/White 1: 7.5/10 It looks nice, but not much has changed. There is an updated battle system and even a Skype-ish feature (pretty limited), but nothing revolutionary. There's a new set of pokemon! Cool, I guess. White Forest or Black City! Well, if you don't have any Pokemon friends, you're screwed. The enemy organization is interesting, but the rivals aren't. Maybe a hardcore Pokemon fan would like it, or a Pokemon noob, but it didn't do anything great for me.

Kinect Sports: 8.5-9/10 Great fun, especially with friends or family, and it is good exercise. Different difficulties, so you can get challenged. The announcer and music clips are OK at first, but do get a little annoying. It's like a collection of minigames, with differing results. Table Tennis is OK, but sometimes the paddle won't reach the ball. Bowling is enjoyable, and looks nice. Track and Field is where the real back-breaker is. It has 5 events, and by the time you're done, you'll faint. It's fun, though, and one of the best for groups. Soccer is very fun, though you can't move around, only kick/block. It's still a fave, though. Beach Volleyball is fun, and it's like tennis, it seems even, but don't miss. Boxing is my personal favorite. You can't dodge, but you can block, which will build up a counter-attack. It's a fun workout, but not so good on multiplayer (the Kinect kind of freaks out).
